More on Professional Programs

  • Professional Skills Pathways

The Professional Skills Pathways program is a one-year program that is designed to provide opportunities for students to develop competencies in two stackable building blocks. · Block 1 offers specialized professional certification training in essential business skills. Based on demand, the Student Business Innovation Hub (SBIH) will host one or two 6-week certificate programs each semester. These certificates will equip students with both theoretical understanding and practical application, fostering collaboration with regional partners. Training covers a wide range of topics including Market Research, Financial Planning, Strategic Planning, Digital Marketing, E-Commerce, Web Design, and HR Management. Due to limited availability, RSVPs are necessary. For the latest certificate training schedule, please visit the SBIH calendar. · Block 2 extends upon the foundational theoretical knowledge and practical skills acquired in Block 1. Consequently, successfully completing Block 1 is a prerequisite for enrollment in Block 2. During an immersive 8-week mini-internship, students engage in delivering specialized consulting services to regional business partners. Projects vary in complexity, with students either working independently or in pairs, depending on the project scope and requirements.
